MEDICAL CENTER TOBRING TEDDY BEARS
Several groups came together this summer to bring cute and cuddly teddy bears to kids in Sierra Vista's Medical Center's emergency room.
For every double play the local Blues Baseball team turned, the San Luis Obispo County Air Pollution Control District donated two teddy bears to Sierra Vista Medical Center’s emergency room.
During this past season, the Blues were able to complete forty-seven double plays; meaning that ninety-four kids between the ages of three and twelve received the teddy bears.
Those gifts were passed out to children on Wednesday morning.
