The SLO Blues (13-5 overall, 10-5 CCL) used a flurry of hits as well as strong pitching to win a home series against Team Vegas (8-10, 8-10) in a convincing 15-2 victory. The Blues took advantage of 15 hits and 4 Team Vegas errors to put across their highest run output of the season.
Offensively, every starting player had a hit, as the Blues scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning and never looked back. Adam Frazier went 2-5, scored 2 runs, and had 2 RBI's. Alex Detz went 2-3 and scored 3 runs. Zac Elgie went 2-5, scored 2 runs, and had 2 RBI's. Wade Hinkle went 2-4 with 2 RBI's and scored a run.Thomas Bernal went 2-5, scored 2 runs, and had 2 RBI's. Max Homick went 2-3 with 2 walks, 2 runs scored, and 1 RBI, and Dylan Gavin had 2 RBI's. Needless to say, the Blues got contributions from up and down their lineup to score a steady stream of runs throughout the entire contest.
